What kind of a container should I store spice in?

It is best to store your spices in dry, air-tight containers. Glass jars with fitting lids are ideal for cabinets and drawers.

What is the best way to store spices?

The ideal way to store whole & ground spices for longer shelf life is to keep them away from heat, moisture & direct sunlight.

Can I store spices in a refrigerator or freezer?

Normally spices are stored in the refrigerator or fridge to prevent loss of color. However, moisture trapping problem occurs while using the spices in an ambient area.

How long do spices and herbs last?

Whole spices have more stability than ground spices. Normally, whole spices last for 1.5 -2 years and ground spices for 1 -1.5 years, if they’re properly stored in dry, air tight containers.

Are your products MSG free?

It is advisable to read the ingredients list. If the product contains MSG, it is mentioned in the list.

Do you add preservatives to your products?

Depending upon the nature of product, according to GMP – Good Manufacturing Program, products may contain permissible preservatives within the allowable limits.

Are preservatives bad for you?

Preservatives are used to ensure the safety of a product. Usage within the allowable limit is not harmful.

Do you use the same ingredients for your products in different part of the world?
